All important events in your life are stored not only in your memory but also in your body.
You'll know it is true if you look at an old picture of a boyfriend or girlfriend. Warm or hateful feelings will probably fill you in a few seconds. That is body memory. It was developed to keep you alive 100,000 years ago when your survival was dependent on very fast decisions.
Bad events from your past can stress you every day if you get reminders from your eyes, ears or other senses. If the stress is heavy you get the symptoms on a larger scale.
Symptoms can grow to a size where we call them diseases, such as Parkinson's disease. But if you remember the symptoms did not strike like lightening they came slowly as you aged. The stronger your trauma the younger you get the disease.
